The former Leeds United manager could succeed Harry Kewell at League Two strugglers, Notts County.

The former Leeds United manager, Paul Heckingbottom, is understood to have held talks about the Notts County vacancy, reports Nottinghamshire Live.
The website speculates that Heckingbottom is one of three contenders to succeed the ex-Leeds winger Harry Kewell at Meadow Lane, alongside Paul Hurst and Neal Ardley.
The 41-year-old previously led Barnsley into the Championship via the League One play-offs, shortly after steering his hometown team to EFL Trophy success.
But having established the Tykes within the second tier, Heckingbottom was prised away by Leeds United, where a four- month reign yielded as many victories, resulting in his sacking on 1 June.

It is fair to say, then, that the reaction from those of a Leeds persuasion does not make for the most pleasing reading if your name is Paul Heckingbottom – although Notts County fans will be pleased to know their feedback is not all negative.
This is what their Whites counterparts are saying on Twitter…
