Jansson did not have a great campaign on a personal level for Leeds in the Championship this past season, but the defender remains a key player for the Whites.
The centre-back initially joined Leeds on loan from Italian side Torino in the summer of 2016 before making the move permanent in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post to be worth £3.5 million.
Leeds fans will hope that Jansson does well for Sweden at the World Cup and returns to Elland Road in good form.
