Leeds United have handed Elland Road youngster Oriol Rey a new contract.

Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the club’s decision to hand Oriol Rey a new contract.
As announced on Leeds’s official website, the West Yorkshire outfit have handed Rey a new two-year contract, meaning that the youngster will remain at Elland Road until the end of the 2019-20 season.
The 20-year-old midfielder joined Leeds in the summer of 2017 after leaving Spanish and European giants Barcelona.

The youngster has progressed well this season, scoring two goals in 30 appearances for Carlos Corberan’s Under-23 side, as stated on the club’s official website.
Rey has yet to make his debut for the Leeds first team, but he has been in the squad on occasions.
Rey is a very talented and promising young midfielder, and perhaps the 20-year-old will get chances in the first team at Elland Road next season.
