Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich is back in the Poland set-up.
Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Mateusz Klich being called up to the latest Poland national squad.
Poland will take on Italy and the Republic of Ireland next month, and Klich will be part of the squad.
The 28-year-old midfielder last played for his country four years ago, and Leeds fans are pleased to see him back in the national squad.
Amazing turnaround
Klich joined Championship club Leeds from Dutch side FC Twente in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post to be worth £1.5 million.
The Poland international struggled to make an impact at Leeds last season and played just 131 minutes of Championship football – according to WhoScored – before joining FC Utrecht on loan in the January transfer window.
The midfielder, though, has been superb for Leeds so far this season and has established himself in head coach Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Klich has scored three goals and provided one assist in five Championship appearances for Leeds so far this season, according to WhoScored.
