Leeds United duo Marcelo Bielsa and Kemar Roofe have been recognised for their heroics in August.
Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to head coach Marcelo Bielsa and striker Kemar Roofe winning prestigious awards.
As announced on Leeds’s official website this morning, Bielsa has been named as the Championship Manager of the Month, while Roofe has been adjudged as the Championship Player of the Month.
The West Yorkshire outfit were superb during the month of August and currently sit at the top of the Championship table.
While Leeds played some superb football and are still unbeaten in the Championship, Roofe – who can also operate as a winger and has been on the books of the Whites since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Oxford United for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £3 million – scored four goals in the league in August.
Leeds fans are delighted to see Roofe win the prestigious Championship Player of the Month award and Bielsa pick up the Championship Manager of the Month accolade.
