Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Lewie Coyle joining Fleetwood Town on loan.

The Championship club have announced on their official Twitter page that Coyle has joined Fleetwood on a six-month loan deal.

Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to head coach Marcelo Bielsa’s decision regarding the 23-year-old, who can operate as a left-back, right-back or central midfielder.

Good decision from Leeds United?

Coyle has been on the books of Leeds since 2004, but the 23-year-old has failed to establish himself in the senior side.

The defender has made only a handful of appearances for the Whites’ first team, and it is hard to see him have a long-term future at Elland Road.

The 23-year-old had a loan spell at Harrogate Town in 2014, and he was on loan at Fleetwood in 2017-18 and in 2018-19.

Coyle has been sent back to Highbury Stadium on loan for the first half of the 2019-20 and will work again with manager Joey Barton.
