Leeds United striker Kemar Roofe is reportedly wanted by Anderlecht.

Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that Kemar Roofe is in talks with Anderlecht.

According to The Daily Mail, Belgian club Anderlecht – now managed by former Manchester City manager Vincent Kompany – are interested in signing Roofe from Leeds in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that the striker is in talks over a £7 million transfer to Anderlecht.

The report has claimed that working with Kompany appeals to the 26-year-old, and that talks are going on at the moment.

The former West Bromwich Albion prospect, who can also operate as a winger, is a key figure for Leeds and played well for the Whites during the 2018-19 campaign.

According to WhoScored, Roofe made 28 starts and five substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds last season, scoring 15 goals and providing two assists in the process.

During the 2017-18 campaign, the striker made 27 starts and nine substitute appearances in the league for the Whites, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
