Could Leeds United winger Jack Clarke be heading back to Tottenham Hotspur?
Clarke is yet to start a Championship game this season, or make it off the bench. He has only been named among the substitutes twice.
Limits over loan players in the matchday squad have seen Clarke become an afterthought. His only game time has come in the Carabao Cup, 115 minutes in total, and Leeds are now eliminated.
The Mail report Tottenham are planning to consider a recall for Clarke in January.
Spurs signed Clarke in July before loaning him back, but they had expected he would play fairly regularly.
He did play and score for England’s under-20 side last week.
Tottenham are said to be concerned about the situation and his development. Clarke only made four league starts for Leeds last season.
The Mirror report Clarke is frustrated at being continuously left out by Marcelo Bielsa.
Leeds fans do not have much sympathy for a player who took the decision to quit in the summer, and was then quoted by the YEP saying there was ‘always a plan’ to move on from Leeds.
