Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the latest update on the injury situation of Chelsea-owned youngster Izzy Brown.

The Championship club’s Managing Director Angus Kinnear suggested in his matchday programme notes ahead of the Championship match against Brentford at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon that Brown could be back in action in January.

The 21-year-old, who is a very versatile footballer and can operate as an attacking midfielder, forward or winger, joined Leeds on loan from Premier League club Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

The former England Under-20 international – who earns £25,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – is on the sidelines at the moment, recovering from an ACL operation.

Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the injury update on Brown – they seem pleased that the Championship club could sign him in the summer, and are optimistic about him making an impact during the second half of the season.
