Leeds United have been linked with a whole host of players since winning promotion to the Premier League – and one of the more bizarre rumours emerged on Sunday.
FC Inter News reported that Leeds have knocked on the door of Ivan Perisic, in the hope of signing the Inter Milan winger.
Perisic is also wanted by Tottenham Hotspur, but he prefers staying at Bayern Munich, who would only pay £9million to sign him permanently.
The Croatian has spent this season on loan at Bayern, notching eight goals and 10 assists in all competitions.
Perisic scored in Friday’s 8-2 thrashing of Barcelona, but it’s unclear where his long-term future lies.
The 31-year-old would be a big-name addition for Leeds, but it’s unlikely that they would pay the big wages he would need, and doesn’t really fit with the Leeds plan right now.

Leeds fans are clued into their club’s ideas, and many of them scoffed at the idea of signing Perisic, believing that he is way out of reach.
Others claimed that they would get tattoos of Perisic on various parts of their body if he does sign, that’s just how confident they are that he won’t be joining…
