Leeds United are out of the FA Cup having been thumped 3-0 away at League Two side Crawley Town this afternoon.

The Whites were widely expected to coast past John Yems’ side, especially with the likes of Kalvin Phillips, Pablo Hernandez and Rodrigo starting.

However, Leeds fell apart in the second half, with Nick Tsaroulla and Ashley Nadesan putting Crawley into a 2-0 lead before Jordan Tunnicliffe struck a third.

Leeds just couldn’t get themselves back into the game, and ended up being involved in the giantkilling of the weekend with Crawley on cloud nine.

This was a dismal game, and few players came out with any semblance of credit – but winger Ian Carlo Poveda at least showed… well, something.

The wide man was given a chance from the start, and produced the outstanding moment of the first half with an outstanding flip-flap to beat a defender.

However, Poveda was taken off in the second half, and Leeds fans admitted on Twitter that they don’t quite understand what Marcelo Bielsa was thinking give that he was a rare bright spot.

Some called him ‘different gravy’ and think he has ‘something special’, backing him for a bright future – even if he has to leave on loan to make progress.
