Leeds United defender is reportedly being lined up for a return to Italy.

Opinion is split on whether Leeds United should cash in on defender Gaetano Berardi.
Berardi is being lined up by newly promoted Serie A side Brescia, where he began his career, report Brescia Oggi.
Adding to the intrigue, Brescia is owned by Massimo Cellino, who originally signed him for Leeds in 2014.
Berardi has been a fan favourite at Leeds since joining, but patience is beginning to wear thin.
He picked up the seventh red card of his Leeds career in the play-offs against Derby County, tipping the tie in the Rams favour.

Cellino may be helping Leeds out by paying up for Berardi, but really this will depend on whether Leeds are keeping Pontus Jansson or selling him.
Berardi is useful for Leeds in that he can play in both full-back positions and at centre-back.
In fairness to him, against Derby in the first leg he was excellent, doing enough to keep Jansson out of the side in the second leg.
