Berardi featured for Leeds in their Championship game against Derby away from home at the Pride Park Stadium on Saturday evening.
The 29-year-old, who can operate as a right-back or as a left-back, started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side won 4-1.
The Switzerland international actually played as a central defender against Derby, and his performance against Frank Lampard’s side drew mixed responses from Leeds fans on Twitter.
