Leeds United’s season has been going almost perfectly so far under Marcelo Bielsa, but there is now a major challenge on the horizon for the Whites.

Leeds sit top of the Championship with four wins and two draws from their six league games under Bielsa, with the Argentinian still yet to lose a league game in England.

The Whites can attempt to continue that unbeaten run at Millwall this weekend, but they have been hit with a host of injury blows in the build-up to that game.

Strikers Patrick Bamford and Kemar Roofe are both out, whilst the club confirmed earlier today that defender Gaetano Berardi and playmaker Pablo Hernandez are both out of action too.

Berardi, a full back previously, has converted superbly to play at centre back under Bielsa, whilst Hernandez has thrived with three goals and two assists in just five league games this season.

Both players will be major misses for Leeds, and fans have taken to Twitter today in order to voice their concern at the duo being out for a few weeks at least.

Fans have suggested that Bielsa now faces his biggest test as Leeds boss, with some noting that they disagree with his preferred plan for a small squad, as a few injuries have left Leeds scrambling a little.

Others aren’t quite so worried, feeling that they will still see off Millwall comfortably whilst picking out Pontus Jansson and Jack Harrison as replacements, with one fan joking that Liam Cooper cursed his teammates by praising their fitness earlier this week.
