Ezgjan Alioski won Leeds United fans’ affections on Saturday.

Paul Heckingbottom picked up his first win as Leeds United boss on Saturday.
Liam Cooper scored the only goal as Leeds beat Brentford at Elland Road, with Ezgjan Alioski providing an assist for the centre-back.
It was the first time that the 26-year-old winger had set up a Leeds goal since December 9 in the 3-1 win at QPR.

Alioski had been getting a tough time of it from United fans in recent weeks and months, with supporters ripping into him after the defeat at Sheffield United earlier month.
But his goal at Derby in midweek, coupled with his assist and industrious performance against the Bees – no player made more tackles than him – and it looks like fans are starting to back him once again.

Alioski, on form, is a class act, but he isn’t the most consistent of players and that’s definitely something to work on next season, whether Leeds are still in the Championship or the Premier League.
