Ezgjan Alioski played well for Leeds United against Derby County on Friday.

Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Ezgjan Alioski against Derby County.
Alioski featured for Leeds in their Championship game against Derby at Elland Road on Friday evening.
The 26-year-old winger started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side won 2-0.
The Macedonia international is a winger by trade, but the former Lugano man was deployed as a left-back against Frank Lampard’s Derby.
With Barry Douglas injured, head coach Bielsa put Alioski at left-back, and the 26-year-old did not disappoint.
According to WhoScored, the former Schaffhausen star provided one assist, had a pass accuracy of 72.5%, won one header, made five tackles, one interception and one clearance, and played three key passes.
Alioski has not been great in terms of his end product and creativity when he was played as a winger, but as a left-back against Derby, the Macedonia international was superb, both in attack and in defence.
Leeds fans were impressed with the display produced by Alioski – who joined the Whites from Lugano in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post to be worth £2 million – and have praised him on Twitter.
