Leeds United fans react to Eunan O’Kane’s setback on Twitter.
Some Leeds United fans on Twitter are reacting to the news of Eunan O’Kane’s injury.
The 28-year-old suffered a double leg fracture on Saturday whilst playing for loan club Luton Town.
O’Kane, who joined Leeds from Bournemouth in 2016, has since been ruled out for the rest of the season as a result of the injury.
The Republic of Ireland midfielder was not in contention at United since Marcelo Bielsa arrived.
But quite a few fans of the West Yorkshire side have offered their sympathies to O’Kane.
It’s nice to see Leeds fans acknowledge O’Kane’s sorrow. The former Bournemouth man often attracted criticism from some supporters of the Elland Road club during the second half of last season, as a result of losing form in a big way, but he is still a Leeds player and therefore it’s refreshing to see fans get behind him when it matters most.
