Leeds United fans still dream of signing Erling Haaland.

Erling Braut Haaland is a player Leeds United fans have been aware of for a couple of years now.
Haaland was born in Leeds and is the son of former Whites defender Alf Inge Haaland, who spent three years at the club.
Back in March 2018, we reported Leeds fans urging the club to sign him up.
That desire still exists, but after last night it looks harder than ever before.
Haaland left Molde for Red Bull Salzburg this year and the form he is in, is just incredible. There really aren’t enough superlatives. In a sport full of hype, Haaland is deserving.
He was making his Champions League debut last night, against Genk, and he blew them away with a first half hat-trick, opening the scoring after just two minutes.

This was the fourth hat-trick he has scored this season. He has 11 goals in seven Bundesliga games, and scored an astounding nine goals in one game in a recent international youth game.
The 19-year-old looks the real deal.
Leeds fans hope that if the club win promotion, he can become a legitimate target.
There will be plenty of competition after last night. But after his comments to to Aftenposten in 2017 about one day wanting to win the Premier League title with Leeds, they have an edge nobody else does.
Here is a look at how fans reacted to his stunning display…
