The international break is upon us, which means Premier League players are off around the world playing for their countries.
A host of Leeds United players are away on international duty, such as Robin Koch and Kalvin Phillips, as well as Scotland’s Liam Cooper and Wales’ Tyler Roberts.
Last night, two Leeds players started for Spain against Portugal, which may well be a sign of the rapid progress Leeds are making under Marcelo Bielsa.
Rodrigo started in the Spain attack, whilst Diego Llorente partnered Manchester City’s Eric Garcia in the heart of defence.
The game ended in a 0-0 draw, with Portugal only managing to have one shot on target in the entire game, as Cristiano Ronaldo was kept quiet.
Llorente, who joined Leeds from Real Soceidad over the summer, is looking to break into Bielsa’s side, and did himself no harm with a strong display against Portugal.

Fans took to Twitter in order to react to Llorente’s display, branding him ‘composed’, ‘ridiculously good’ and ‘world class’.
Others marvelled at how Llorente played against Ronaldo, claiming he pocketed him all night long.
