Former Leeds striker Wood was in action for Burnley in their Premier League game against Norwich at Turf Moor on Saturday.
The 27-year-old New Zealand international scored both the goals in the Clarets’ 2-0 victory over the Canaries.
The former West Bromwich Albion man found the net first in the 10th minute and then on 14 minutes.
Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Wood’s heroics on the same day when Marcelo Bielsa’s side failed to convert a penalty against Derby County at Elland Road and played out a 1-1 draw in the Championship.
