Celtic may be in the market for a new left back this summer, despite bringing in two last summer.

Greg Taylor has started the season in fine form, but Boli Bolingoli’s future at Parkhead now looks to be in doubt.

The Belgian is not only backup to Taylor, but has since broken lockdown protocol in a move that has angered many at Celtic.

If Bolingoli can be moved on, then Celtic will surely bring in a replacement – and it looks like Leeds United’s Barry Douglas is a top target.

Sky Sports claim that Douglas is wanted by Celtic, despite him admitting in years gone by that he grew up as a Rangers fan.

Douglas, 30, only managed 15 Championship appearances last season, with six starts to his name, and he failed to register a goal or an assist.

The Scot is usually dangerous going forward, but form and fitness seemed to elude Douglas last season, despite him winning promotion.

Now, Leeds fans have been taking to Twitter to react to the rumours, with some preferring to keep him as he would be a ‘big loss’.

Others think Douglas isn’t good enough for the Premier League and should be let go in order to bring in a new left back this summer.
