Leeds fans were again left to reflect on another defeat, and whilst a host of players received criticism for their performances, striker Caleb Ekuban was particularly slammed during and after the game.
The Italian forward, 23, joined Leeds from Chievo Verona last summer, having hit 18 goals in 42 games for Partizani Tirana in Albania last season, but has found the net just once in 14 games this term.
On Saturday, Ekuban was handed a start in the Leeds attack, but his performance left fans claiming that he is robbing a career as a footballer, suggesting he could play for hours, weeks or even years and not score.
Others turned their ire towards director of football Victor Orta for another poor signing, claiming it’s time for the Spaniard to go, with Ekuban failing to impress fans with another goalless display.
