Some Leeds United fans have expressed their dismay after Marcelo Bielsa announced that yet another defensive player is out injured.

The Whites are currently without Liam Cooper, Gaetano Berardi and Stuart Dallas, with Luke Ayling having recently come back from a lengthy absence, as reported by Leeds Live.

Despite their injury issues this season, Leeds have nonetheless delivered on the pitch as shown by their rise to the top of the Championship table.

Therefore, Bielsa’s admission on Barry Douglas’ fitness will not have been received well, with the left-back now unable to be called upon by the club for “a while”.
