Barry Douglas played for the Leeds United Under-23 side against their Nottingham Forest counterparts on Friday.

Barry Douglas was in action on Friday evening, as the former Wolverhampton Wanderers left-back turned out for the Leeds United Under-23 side against their Nottingham Forest counterparts.
Douglas, who can also operate as a left wing-back, has been on the sidelines with a calf injury, but the 29-year-old has been making his recovery.
The 29-year-old joined Leeds from Wolves in the summer of 2018 for a fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £3 million.
The left-back has made 21 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for Marcelo Bielsa’s side so far this season, providing four assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Douglas featured for the Leeds Under-23 side in the 2-2 draw with their Forest counterparts at Alfreton Town in Professional Development League Group North on Friday evening.

The former Dundee United left-back did well on his return to action, throwing himself into challenges and also did his best in attack.
Douglas, though, still looked rusty, and it was clear that had he been playing against a top Championship team, he would have struggled, and some Leeds fans were not impressed.
