Leeds United fans have expressed their concerns that promises from club managing director Angus Kinnear are purely a ploy to drive up season ticket sales.

Comments from Angus Kinnear about the club’s ambition sound like the answer, but fans are deeply frustrated about this season and are sceptical, even though he acknowledged their disappointment.
Kinnear told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “We understand, with the performances since Christmas, that supporter sentiment has been dented.
“Lessons have been learned and we are excited to see the benefits of a carefully planned transfer window and pre-season.”

Leeds fans heard positive messages of hope last season – but loss after loss this season has enthusiasm at a real low.
