Clough is under contract to Bolton and featured against the Whites last season before his side were relegated.

Clough has scored seven goals in 19 games for Bolton this season to help them up to second in League One.
The Trotters would be understandably reluctant to let Clough leave, but over the past two years they have been in a perilous financial position and could have to consider offers.
Leeds are not the only side interested, report The Sun, with Premier League side Everton also linked.

Clough is just 21-years-old, and in his previous spells in the Championship, has 12 goals to his name.
At Elland Road he would join a group of talented young players and fit well into manager Garry Monk’s blueprint for the club.
He would help provide competition for first choice striker Chris Wood, and potentially contribute to their promotion push.

If it went well for Clough, he could end up playing for a Premier League place, rather than simply battling to get back into the Championship with Bolton.
