Leeds are closing in on the signing of West Brom’s Tyler Roberts.

Leeds United are closing in on a deal for West Bromwich Albion striker Tyler Roberts.
Roberts is set to sign for Leeds after the clubs agreed a £2.5 million fee, which the Express and Star report could rise to £4 million.
Roberts, 19, had been on loan at Walsall earlier this season, where he impressed, and had rejected West Brom’s offer of a new contract.

West Brom’s only real chance of keeping Roberts was to play him now and hope that would convince him to sign a new deal, but manager Alan Pardew made clear that was not his priority and the club are now cashing in.
For Leeds it is a real coup, with Rangers interested along with AC Milan.
Roberts is a Wales under-21 international who is expected to compete straight away for a place in Leeds’ first team squad.
