Leeds United’s hopes of going up automatically have been dashed following back-to-back defeats over the Easter period.

Leeds United fans on Twitter have provided a mixed reaction to Pablo Hernandez, Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper making the PFA’s Team of the Season.
The Yorkshire club announced on their official Twitter account that three of their players had been selected in the team, alongside an array of Championship talent.
Whilst fans were pleased to see their players recognised, the news dampened their happiness because of the league position they are currently in.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side, who have lost back-to-back games, are three points behind second-placed Sheffield United in the table and a win for the Blades in their next game then promotion is all but secured because of their superior goal difference.
Nonetheless, there were others who were especially pleased for playmaker Hernandez who they feel is finally being recognised for his performances.
Others to make the team were, Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp, Norwich City’s Teemu Pukki and Aston Villa duo Jack Grealish and Tammy Abraham.
Here is a selection of Leeds fans reacting on Twitter to the PFA’s TOTS:
At the weekend, Leeds will play high-flying Aston Villa, who have won 10 games on the bounce and could potentially meet Dean Smith’s side in the playoff final.
But before then, they will lock horns at Elland Road where Bielsa’s side will be looking to do the double over Villa after beating them 3-2 during the reverse fixture.
