Toumani Diagouraga wants to stay and fight for a place in Thomas Christiansen’s Leeds United team.
Leeds fans appear to be impressed by Toumani Diagouraga’s attitude, with the midfielder apparently keen to stay at Elland Road.
The midfielder was sent out on loan to Ipswich Town by Garry Monk last season, and he appeared to have little future at Elland Road.

However, Monk’s departure has given Diagouraga another chance.
And it is reported that the former Peterborough and Brentford midfielder is keen to take his opportunity, which has impressed Leeds fans.
Diagouraga was given a chance to play in Leeds’ first friendly match of the season, which came against Harrogate Town.
Leeds beat the non-league side 4-2, with Diagouraga playing at centre-back in the contest.
Diagouraga is more comfortable in midfield, but faces a big fight to win a place in Christiansen’s team in his favoured position.
