Leeds United are claimed to have signed Yuta Toyokawa.

Leeds United are reported to have pulled off another transfer deal – but don’t expect the new signing to play for the club just yet.
Leeds and Eupen are linked through the network of the Aspire Academy, headed up by Whites director Ivan Bravo.
Leeds are though yet to confirm the move themselves.

Spanish side Cultural Leonesa are also part of the group, and have just loaned Yosuke Ideguchi from Leeds after they signed him from Gamba Osaka.
But while Ideguchi is regarded as Japan’s most exciting talent and has represented the club at international level, Toyokawa does not have quite the same CV.

He had been playing for Fagiano Okayawa and is 23-years-old. The striker has spent most of his career to date in Japan’s second division, and has netted only two goals in the top flight.
Toyokawa is a Japan under-23 international but has not featured for their senior team.
Earlier this week Leeds signed Finnish defender Aapo Halme for their under-23 side.
Claims of Toyokawa’s signing might have been a welcome surprise, but Leeds fans want to see first team players signed who can help their promotion campaign.
Here is a look at how fans reacted on Twitter to the alleged move…
