Leeds went back above Sheffield United last night, as Wilder’s side failed to beat Birmingham City.
The Whites are now slightly ahead of the Blades in the race for promotion.
But Wilder was keen to remind everyone that his side’s result against Birmingham was better than what Leeds managed at the weekend.
“It’s a real difficult place to come and get a result, as another team found out on Saturday,” he said.
Leeds fans have found the comment disrespectful, and feel that the pressure is now starting to get to Wilder.
Leeds and Sheffield United have been trading places in recent weeks, with the battle for promotion going right down to the wire.
Every slip up is proving costly right now, with the pressure mounting by the game.
Leeds are next in action at the weekend against Sheffield Wednesday, while Blades face Millwall.
