It was the Spaniard’s first goal since leaving Leeds at the end of 2018 to join the La Liga side.
Getafe lost the game 2-1 to Real Sociedad despite Saiz’s impressive goal.
Leeds loaned Saiz until the end of the season, and Getafe have an option to buy which the Yorkshire Evening Post report to be £6 million.
The fact this is his first goal of his loan spell tells it’s own story that he has struggled to make a convincing case for the Spaniard’s to pay up Leeds’ demands.
Saiz is a big talent who made a positive impact for Leeds in the first half of the season.
The Whites can only wonder what might have been, had they been able to convince him to stay, having missed out on automatic promotion.
