Former Leeds star returned to Elland Road… in an Aston Villa shirt.

Former Leeds United winger Robert Snodgrass returned to Elland Road with Aston Villa last night.
The Scotsman played his role in a competitive 1-1 draw, although was far from his best, having entered the game in good form.
Leeds took the lead early with a Pontus Jansson header, before substitute Henri Lansbury scored an impressive second half equaliser to claim a draw for the visitors.

Snodgrass had a mixed reception, with sections of fans booing him, still disappointed that he quit the club to join Norwich City.
Snodgrass played for Leeds United between 2008 and 2012, and became a real fan favourite, before joining the Canaries and has since played for Hull City and West Ham, who loaned him out to the Villans.
The Leeds official twitter account even made a light hearted comment at his expense upon his return, seeing him go up against Gaetano Berardi.
The game was an opportunity for Snodgrass to demonstrate to fans that he is still a top player, but it wasn’t a game in which he will remember fondly in terms of his own display.
Many Leeds fans were keen for the club sign Snodgrass on loan in the summer but the Whites did go in for his services.
Last night he failed to prove them wrong in that decision.
Here is a look at how Leeds fans reacted to his performance…
