Leeds United fans have hailed star defender Pontus Jansson after he helped Sweden launch a dramatic comeback win against Portugal.
Jansson began the friendly fixture on the bench in Maritimo, left out despite helping Sweden keep a clean sheet against Belarus days earlier.
By half-time Sweden found themselves 2-0 down, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring after just seven minutes and defender Andrea Granqvist turning in an own goal.
Enter Pontus Jansson.
With the Leeds centre-back coming on for the unfortunate Granqvist at half-time, Sweden’s defence suddenly tightened up.

A brace from striker Viktor Claesen and a late own goal from Portugal’s Joao Cancelo gave Sweden a dramatic 3-2 away win.
Jansson’s international break has been a big success, with 135 minutes of football played, and no goals conceded.
It was just what he needed after his surprise benching in Leeds’ last fixture against Brighton, and he will head back to Yorkshire beaming with pride and confidence.
