Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has re-affirmed his desire to play in the Premier League.

Jansson has confirmed that there is interest in him, and he wants to play in the Premier League.
He said: “There is interest. All I know is that I’m going to stay in England. It will be a lot for me to leave England. I really enjoy Leeds. But I want to see their ambitions, now is the time to get into the Premier League.
“I want to play in the Premier League. But I do not want to answer these questions before the World Cup.”

The Leeds defender has made similar comments before, and these appear to have been the last straw for many Whites supporters.
Jansson may be an important player for Leeds, but some of the Elland Road crowd now wants the Swedish international to leave.
Jansson has been a key player for Leeds during his time at the Yorkshire side, with his whole-hearted performances making him very popular.
Jansson, perhaps, did not enjoy his most productive campaign this past season though, as Leeds failed to find him a regular partner in the centre of their defence.
Sweden’s World Cup in Russia begins with a match against South Korea in two weeks’ time.
