Hernandez featured for Leeds in the Championship game against Forest away from home at the City Ground on Saturday evening.
The 32-year-old attacking midfielder, who can also operate as a winger, started the match and played for 70 minutes.
Leeds picked up all three points from the encounter against Mark Warburton’s Forest, thanks to goals from Kemar Roofe in the first half and Ezgjan Alioski in the second period.
