Leeds United fans feel that they have got a far better deal than Middlesbrough, after picking up Vurnon Anita instead of Jonny Howson.
Leeds and Middlesbrough were said to be in competition for Howson, but it is Garry Monk’s side who have won the race.
However, Leeds fans do not seem so bothered about missing out on Howson now.
Some Whites fans had wanted Howson to return to Elland Road this summer. However, now he has gone elsewhere, they appear to be very pleased with the addition of Anita on a free transfer.
Anita is one of a number of signings which Leeds have already made this summer.
The Whites are expected to continue to be active, with Thomas Christiansen confirming to Sky Sports that more new arrivals are to be expected in the next few days.
