Leeds United signed Matt Grimes on a season-long loan from Swansea City.

Leeds United fans are very pleased with the addition of Matt Grimes from Swansea City.
Leeds signed Grimes on a season-long loan from Swansea, with the transfer going through early this morning.
The Whites’ move for Grimes went under the radar, and Leeds fans appear to be enthused by his arrival.
Grimes is likely to have an important role to play in Leeds’ midfield next season, with Garry Monk starting to assemble his side.
Monk was the manager who brought Grimes to Swansea, meaning his talents are well known to the new Leeds boss.

Grimes has a small amount of Championship experience after playing for Blackburn Rovers on loan last season. He has also represented Exeter City.
Grimes was Leeds’ fifth signing of the summer transfer window so far, and they quickly followed his arrival up with the addition of Kemar Roofe from Oxford United.
Leeds’ competitive season begins on August 7th, with a match against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
