Leeds striker scored in their latest pre-season victory
Leeds United striker Marcus Antonsson got off the mark as the club won their third pre-season game in week, but it was not all plain sailing for the Swede.
Antonsson is yet to score a competitive goal for the Whites in 2017, and a nervous start in his first two pre-season games put the pressure on.

He scored the opener in the win over North Ferriby United last night, with Kemar Roofe making it 2-0.
Antonsson’s goal should have calmed his nerves, but he was not exactly calm and composed thereafter, going onto miss a handful of further chances including one from just five yards out with the goal gaping.

Earlier this week the Whites signed promising striker Caleb Ekuban, while Lee Erwin had netted three goals in the club’s opening two pre-season matches.
Antonsson is still re-discovering his confidence, and ultimately the goal will help.
Whether it does enough to convinced Thomas Christiansen he deserves a major role in the team is still to be established, and tougher tests will come later this pre-season.
