Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has suggested his side need to win every one of their remaining fixtures.
Bielsa has confirmed that Leeds will name an unchanged side at the weekend, and that they are targeting five wins from their remaining fixtures.
While some managers may have taken the pressure off their side, Bielsa has insisted that Leeds have no room for slip ups.
He said: “We are going to play with the same players. I don’t imagine any changes at the moment.
“More than the opponent, without watching the previous games, we have to win the five games left, each of these five games. When you have less points to win the league because there are few games left, the gap for mistakes is reduced.”
Leeds are currently just one point ahead of Sheffield United in the race to claim an automatic promotion spot.
And Leeds fans are happy to Bielsa’s rousing talk, as they feel it will motivate the team.
Leeds’ destiny is in their own hands right now, but it would take a momental effort for them to finish the season with maximum points from their remaining fixtures.
Leeds have some tough games to come, and it could be a very nervy end to the campaign for everyone at Elland Road.
