The midfielder has headed to Burton Albion on loan until the end of the season.
Leeds United have loaned out their midfielder Luke Murphy to Burton Albion this afternoon, after he fell out of favour at Elland Road under Garry Monk.
Leeds United confirmed on their official website earlier today that he has made the move to Burton Albion on loan until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old arrived at Leeds from Crewe Alexandra in 2013 and became a consistent member of the first-team at Elland Road.

However, this season he has dropped out of the first-team under Garry Monk, with the emergence of young players such as Ronaldo Vieira and Kalvin Phillips and the arrival of Eunan O’Kane and Liam Bridcutt seeing him fall out of favour.
The move is certainly one that Murphy needed and he received nearly outright good wishes from the Leeds faithful.

Throughout his time out of the team Murphy has conducted himself in exemplary fashion. He has continued to try his best for the Leeds under-23s and never moaned about his troubles at the club.
Leeds United fans will hope he can get back to first-team action at Burton and find himself a permanent move in the summer.
