Elland Road was far quieter than usual as Leeds took on Blackburn.

Less than 8,500 fans turned out to watch Leeds United host Blackburn Rovers in the EFL Cup last night.
The fixture was a repeat of a Championship clash three games earlier, and appeared simply one game too many to get fans of both clubs enthused.
The two teams have both endured difficult starts to the season, with managers Garry Monk and Owen Coyle coming under pressure prior to both recording wins at the weekend.
Blackburn’s Jason Lowe and Leeds’ Marcus Antonsson in action
Both teams have disenfranchised fans through their off pitch decisions, with Massimo Cellino of Leeds and the Venky’s at Blackburn among the most unpopular and maligned owners in English football.
It was little surprise then that the midweek fixture drew the interest of so few fans.
The low crowd made this Leeds’ lowest attendance since hosting Darlington in the cup in 2009.
Substitute Chris Wood did not break the deadlock until the 84th minute, and before that point many watching the dull encounter must have been wondering why they bothered turning up.
Leeds had priced tickets at £20 and £15 for season ticket holders, according to the club website, for those booking in advance. For fans paying on the gate it was £25.
The low attendance caused plenty of comment on Twitter, here is a look at how Leeds fans reacted to the confirmation of the crowd numbers.
