Leeds United have been linked with Arsenal forward Chuba Akpom to replace Chris Wood.
Leeds United fans appear to be divided over whether Arsenal forward Chuba Akpom would be a good signing to replace Chris Wood.
The Whites are said to be in competition with Celtic for the 21-year-old’s signature, which could make their task of convincing the England youth international to move to Elland Road a tough one.
And Leeds fans appear to have differing opinions on whether a move for Akpom would be worthwhile.
Andrea Radrizzani has stressed the the money raised from Wood’s sale will be invested back into Leeds’ team, and a striker is likely to be on Christiansen’s wish list.
Leeds look short of options up-front, following Wood’s departure, and signing a new front man will be a priority.
Akpom has previously had loan spells at the likes of Brighton & Hove Albion, Hull City and Nottingham Forest, but has never been a prolific scorer.
