Leeds United fans are growing tired of their fixtures being moved for TV.

It is fair to say that Leeds United have had something of a fractured relationship with Sky Sports recently.
The broadcasters of the Championship fixtures have often moved and changed Leeds United fixtures for TV scheduling purposes in recent months.
It is of course a contentious issue for Leeds. The club argue many of their fans, in particular season ticket holders, often end up having to miss ties because of the inconvenient rescheduling of fixtures by Sky Sports. There is also the argument that Leeds miss out on revenue if the game is on television – although not much keeps Leeds fans away from attending games.

It even came to a head last season, when Leeds’ controversial owner Massimo Cellino initially refused to allow Sky cameras in to Elland Road for a fixture v Derby last December, before allowing them in at the 11th hour.
Now the latest rescheduling has seen a mixed reaction from Leeds fans.
Sky have scheduled a Friday night clash v Brighton for Leeds on December 9th, a fixture they always seem to schedule for live TV.
They have also moved both games with Aston Villa. The December 3rd clash will now kick-off at 17:30 and what was supposed to be a New Year’s Eve game at Villa Park has been moved to Thursday December 29th.
Many a Leeds fan is furious at the latest changes and with good reason. Others however are less bothered, believing it just shows how big the club still is – despite years in the Football League.
