Leeds United have been linked with a move for Union Berlin’s Kristian Pedersen.

Leeds United’s poor season highlighted the need for new signings this summer, and Victor Orta is under increasing pressure to bring in quality additions.
The Whites need reinforcements in a host of positions, and it’s fair to say that the left back spot remains a problem for Orta and manager Paul Heckingbottom.
Leeds lost Charlie Taylor to Burnley last summer and attempted to replace him with Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, but the Manchester United loanee failed to impress, before Leeds landed Belgian defender Laurens dDe Bock in January.
De Bock’s poor performances led to Heckingbottom using youngster Tom Pearce instead, but with Pearce out of contract this summer and De Bock in the wilderness, another left back could be targeted.

Now, German newspaper Bild report that Leeds are now interested in Union Berlin left back Kristian Pedersen, in a bid to potentially solve their issues there once and for all.
Pedersen, 23, has impressed for Union Berlin since his 2016 move from Koge in his native Denmark, making 31 appearances for the 2. Bundesliga side this season.
At 6ft 2in tall, Pedersen is a tall and defensively-adept left back who would give Leeds a solid option in a position which has caused problems for the last year, but fans aren’t happy.
Leeds fans took to Twitter today in order to suggest that Pedersen is just another foreign flop for Orta to target, with many wanting domestic players signed this summer rather than Pedersen, who was described as ‘a bit of a gamble’ by Whites fans.
