Leeds United welcomed Kemar Roofe back to first-team training earlier today.
Leeds United fans have had a mixed reaction to the news that Kemar Roofe has returned to training.
Roofe has been out with injury for much of 2018 so far, but he was pictured back in training this morning.
The forward could now return for Leeds’ next match, which comes against Sunderland at the weekend.
However, Leeds fans appear to be divided over whether Roofe’s return is good news.
While some admit that the 25-year-old is a better option than the likes of Caleb Ekuban and Jay Roy Grot, others feel that he is not the answer to their goalscoring problems.
Roofe’s last appearance for Leeds came back in February, when he played in a 2-2 draw with Derby County.
Roofe is a player who divides opinion at Elland Road, but he has a relatively productive goalscoring season.
The former West Brom trainee has hit 12 goals in all competitions, which makes him the Whites’ second top scorer this term.
