Leeds United fell to a second home defeat in a row on Monday night, as they were beaten 4-1 by Leicester City.
The Whites had a golden chance early on through Patrick Bamford, but Leicester went down the other end to open the scoring with a Harvey Barnes goal.
Youri Tielemans made it 2-0 as Leeds struggled to cope with Jamie Vardy, but Stuart Dallas gave the Whites hope with a goal early into the second half.
Vardy made it 3-1 though, and Tielemans added a penalty to seal a 4-1 win, as Leeds’ improved second half display was ultimately in vain.
It wasn’t vintage Leeds as they fell to defeat, but some players still did themselves proud – and Helder Costa was one player who received praise.
The Portuguese wide man only registered one key pass, two dribbles and one tackle won whilst being dispossessed three times, but Leeds fans still appreciated his display.
Some felt that Costa was a ‘joy to watch’ against Leicester, and produced an ‘outstanding’ performance at Elland Road.
Others think he ‘looks up for it’ this season, and was one of the few players who was actually close to his best last night.
