Former Marseille and France players Franck Leboeuf and Christophe Dugarry criticised the Whites boss on French radio and the latter suggested his behaviour was “a bit autistic”.

Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to condemn former Marseille players Franck Leboeuf and Christophe Dugarry for their criticism of Marcelo Bielsa.
The Whites boss, described by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola as “the best coach in the world”, has turned the Elland Road outfit into Championship title contenders this season.
There was some added media focus in January in the wake of the so-called Spygate, in which it emerged that Leeds sent an employee to watch Derby County’s training session ahead of their Championship clash.
The following week, Bielsa scheduled an impromptu press conference in which he showed the depth of scouting he does at the club, in a passionate defence of his methods – the Yorkshire Evening Post produced a full transcript as Bielsa provided his insight.
However, over at French outlet RMC Sport on the Team Duga show, Leboeuf and Dugarry hit out at the former Marseille coach over his conduct, the former of the two discussing an alleged incident with former club captain Steve Mandanda.
“He’s somebody I don’t like,” Leboeuf said. “I don’t like his life philosophy… to take the lift in the morning with your captain, to not say hello and to not even look at him, there’s a bit of a problem.”
Dugarry then added: “It’s the way he treats people, journalists, it’s a bit autistic, isn’t it?”
Some Leeds fans took to Twitter to criticise the two former France internationals’ comments, with the “autistic” jibe being especially condemned:
