The Owls keeper restricted the Whites of Marcelo Bielsa to just one goal in Saturday’s Championship game at Elland Road.

Some Leeds United fans have given their thoughts on the EFL Team of the Week, which did not feature Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood in goal.
The Owls stopper restricted the Whites to just one goal in Saturday’s Championship encounter at Elland Road, keeping the visitors in the game time after time.
Westwood pulled off a number of great saves in the first half, including a point-blank stop from a Tyler Roberts header, and could do little against Jack Harrison’s eventual winner.
On Monday, the EFL Twitter feed published its Team of the Week, and the goalkeeper who made the cut was Bristol City’s Max O’Leary.
Admittedly, the 22-year-old was in inspired form against a rampant Aston Villa side, keeping them down to two goals.
Nonetheless, some of the Leeds contingent felt Westwood was a little hard done by and praised his performance against Marcelo Bielsa’s side on the social media platform:
One Leeds player made into the team, which encompasses all 72 EFL teams – defender Pontus Jansson, who thoroughly impressed against Sheffield Wednesday
Up next for the Whites is the Good Friday clash against Wigan Athletic at Elland Road and they will also be hoping for a favour from the Owls as they travel to Norwich City on the same day.
