Leeds United are set to be involved in a documentary.

Dark Clouds form over Elland road as First Division football becomes a reality during the FA Barclaycard Premiership match between Leeds United and Charlton Athletic at Elland Road on May...

Leeds United are pushing for promotion under Marcelo Bielsa – and fans may be able to see all the behind-the-scenes action in the future.

The Whites sit third in the Championship table, level on points with Sheffield United and just two points off leaders Norwich City whilst having a game in hand.

West Brom are hot on Leeds’ tail in what is becoming a fascinating race for automatic promotion, and the Whites now look set to document the battle.

Leeds confirmed on Wednesday that Eleven Studios – part of owner Andrea Radrizzani’s Eleven Sports Group – and local media company The City Talking will join forces to produce a documentary showing behind-the-scenes action at Elland Road.

We’ve seen Manchester City in such a documentary on Amazon Prime, whilst Netflix showed a club at the opposite end of the spectrum, capturing Sunderland’s relegation last season.

It’s no great surprise that media mogul Radrizzani has taken this step, but he will be hoping that it captures a Premier League promotion rather than a failed push.

Some Leeds fans have responded to the announcement by voicing their concern at the Whites ‘bottling’ their promotion bid and having the anguish shown to the world, especially with the timing of the announcement.

Others are excited to see the situation surrounding Daniel James’ failed January move from Swansea City, whilst one fan pointed out that it may be more of a medical drama given all the injuries this season.
